This is a big hat, a great hat. It has a 6-inch brim--you want sun shade?! The crown is not so high-5 1/4 inches-making the hat less overwhelming (if you can say such a thing with a 6-inch brim). The hat has three vent eyelets and a stampede string (chincord). The "Gus" crown block is very distinctive. When you need/want to be outside, you'll look forward to it because you will get to wear your 6-inch Gus. Color: Natural Palm-leaf. Sizes: 6 7/8 through 8.
