The hat body has been made with toyo, a vegetable fiber that has been braided into a long thin strip, which is then sewn together and blocked into shape. The Kettle shape is given its name due to the up-turned lip or edge of the brim. This universal style is worn by many and still continues to be a very popular style in casual women's straws. The squared off shallow crown measures at 3 1/4" high and the 2" wide brim has a 1 1/2" lip. A tie around the crown is made of the same braided toyo, this can be used to size the hat for fit. The inner sweatband is a grosgrain ribbon in the same color as the hat. One size fits most, adjust for fit. Available color: Wheat.
