The lightweight material known as horsehair, woven polyester, is a great body for a heavily decorated straw hat. The horsehair has been woven into strips, which are then braided and then sewn onto one another. The braids present a scallop edge to the boater, creating the undulating finish to the 4" wide kettle brim. The 4" high square crown is the perfect backdrop from the plethora roses and tulle that surrounds the crown. This hat will be sure to get you noticed amongst the crowd at a picnic or luncheon.
